Ok, I got it
Hey there People!

Thanks to everyone who turned up for our informal opening session during freshers' week. We've got an exciting year lined up for you, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and relaxation. We'll be updating this page as quickly as possible once we have events confirmed. Please let us know if you have anything to suggest for this year's Events List. You don't have to be a member of our society, or to attend regularly to come to any of our events.
As well as our usual Wednesday sessions we also run Firesides most Friday evenings. Those who are interested will also have the chance to sign up for a Ruhi Book One course soon.

We're very much looking forward to seeing you all!

The Chaplaincy, Potterrow
Seeing as our society is run based on the principles of the Bahá'í Faith, as a start to the year we thought we'd cover some of the basics. Come along for a friendly and open discussion in a chilled and welcoming environment. We'll be happy to answer all the questions we can and then it'll be off to Negotiants café, opposite Potterrow, to kick back and relax.

Talk and Discussion
Jeremy Fox introduces his book written in 2004 and centred on a letter written in the second half of the nineteenth century by Bahá'u'lláh, founder of the Bahá'í Faith (1817-1892).
In this ‘letter’ Bahá’u’lláh explains the link between Christ's revelation and his own, which he presents as being a new stage in the evolution of "the changeless Faith of God, eternal in the past, eternal in the future".

Wednesday 22nd October - 7pm APPLETON TOWER LECTURE HALL 3

Wednesday 5th Nov:

Workshop and Discussion
From religious purpose to secular society and advertising. We're opening up the floor for you to have your say, and hope to dip into some spiritual and philosophical thinking on the matter along the way. What is art anyway? Do artists have a responsibility to society? Is art today being manipulated by materialism? And many more questions!
